A downloadable game for Windows

Update July 18th: Looks like I screwed up with the upload and didn't include a crucial file to run the game. Thank you for a friendly fellow game developer for pointing this out! If this disqualifies me from the jam, then fine. :) But here's the game with all files included:

(I'm not here to compete anyway, so it doesn't really matter. Just want to allow people to try out the game if someone stumbles upon this page. I'll upload this properly here after the jam voting period has ended and uploading is allowed again.)

A clunky metallic boy is on a mission to collect all the scrap metal he can find!

I decided to use the GMTK Game Jam as an opportunity to learn Godot. This game is very simple. It has three levels and doesn't really have any proper ending, so it's more like a polished prototype. Go ahead and try it anyway - who doesn't love collecting scrap metal!

The theme of the jam was "Roll of the Dice". As a life-long fan of roguelike games I decided to make a game that generates random levels. I knew I couldn't really make anything complex in this time with a game engine I've only used for a few hours before the jam. There's some variance in the rooms if you play the game more than once.

I will certainly be continuing this game as it's a very good start, and I must say Godot is a wonderful engine to use!

Game design, programming, sound design: Sanna Väätänen (that's me)
